He was speaking at a function ‘Janshakti evam yuva shakti milan’ on Saturday to welcome Bajrang Dal activist Pradeep Nayar and his supporters into the party fold.

The function was held at Ravindra Natya Griha after the inauguration of the party office near Samrat hotel, MG Road. Patel announced appointment of function organiser Nayar as State general secretary of their Yuva Shakti wing. Patel flayed the BJP for its ‘mis’rule in the State. He said

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan like his predecessor Babulal Gaur has failed to fulfill his onerous responsibility. Being a Member of Parliament from Naxal effected Balaghat he had warned of the growing menace and ignoring this resulted in the discovery of a large Naxal run arms and information centre in the State capital.

He levelled charges of subverting justice against Minister of State for Home Nagendra Singh who he alleged took no action against those involved in arms smuggling as they are from his hometown.

The Congress has always professed secularism, turned a blind eye, and to some extent appeased divisive tendencies.
