The 33-month old BJP Government in the State seeks to take credit for every small thing highlighted in magazines but its failures mentioned in the same magazines hav not been taken note of, he said.

He referred to poor law & order situation in the State as an example and said crime figures in the State are worse than Bihar in the latest National Crime Bureau report. Further, Yadav said that Bansagar Project, Sanjay Gandhi thermal power project or Maan irrigation project were started by the Congress governments and the BJP only wishes to appropriate credit for them simply by inaugurating them.

Referring to extension of health services in the State as claimed in the BJP’s political resolution, Yadav said failure of the State Government to contain the spread of Chikunguniya speaks volumes of state of health services in the State.

Referring to BJP’s charge of Congress holding the National Song ‘Vande Matram’ to ridicule, Yadav said that his party required no certificate from the BJP on patriotism or respect for the National Song. He further said that the allegation of negative role of the Central Government in the development of the State is belied by the figures of Central assistance received by the State.

Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly, Jamuna Devi said BJP seemed to be suffering from self-obsession going by the contents of political resolution. The inclusion of State government decision to lift ban on Government employees to participate in RSS activities and passage of Religious Freedom Act in the State Assembly as achievements of Shivraj Singh Government only reflected its ‘sick’ mentality.
