"Realising his defeat in the election, naturally the BJP candidate (Rudy) has demanded to countermand the poll in this (Chapra) constituency," AICC general secretary Oscar Fernandes said in a statement.
Referring to the two-member fact finding EC team which visited Chapra on Sunday morning on the complaints of both RJD and BJP, he said Congress feels that EC is competent to take a fair and final decision in the matter.
