"BJP has demanded that the land alloted to the Shrine Board be given back, Governor N N Vohra be recalled and the Centre initiate discussion with the Sangharsh Samiti in Jammu," party sources told PTI after the all-party meeting convened in the capital on the issue by the Prime Minister.

The discussion in the meeting was initiated by party chief Rajnath Singh and he put forward these demands and stressed that peace will be elusive without fulfilling the them, they said.

Never before in the history of the state (Jammu and Kashmir) have the sentiments of the people been hurt to this extent, Singh is reported to have told the all-party meeting.

BJP was represented by party chief and general secretary and in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir Arun Jaitley.
