Himachal BJP president Suresh Bharadwaj on Sunday revoked the expulsion of a senior dissident leader and former minister Mohinder Nath Sofat and 50 party activists of Solan district.

Sofat, a prominent dissident BJP leader who had organised the rebels under the banner of 'miter milan' and contested the last assembly polls as an independent, was expelled from the party alongwith 48 prominent leaders.

The dissidents led by Sofat had already announced their support to the BJP candidates and were working for them, a party release said. The readmission of Sofat has cleared the decks for re-entry of other 'miter milan' activists before the Lok Sabha polls.
