HT was the first to report that the five suspended MLAs would be brought back to the party fold.

An official statement from the party's state headquarters, while referring to a communication from BJP national general secretary Jagat Prakash Nadda, stated that the decision in this regard has been taken following letters written by these MLAs to national president Rajnath Singh, expressing their "unconditional" desire to work for the party as per the party's priorities and directives, and therefore, requesting that their suspension may kindly be revoked and an opportunity be given to resume work for the party.

Jagat Prakash Nadda, in separate communication to each of these MLAs, conveyed the decision of the national president to accede to their request and revoke the suspension.
