BJP takes Centre, State to task

THE BHARATIYA Janata Party (BJP) on Monday came down heavily on the State and the Central governments for their alleged failure to deal with terrorism. Addressing an anti-terrorism rally called Rashtriya Suraksha Sankalp Yatra in the city, former Union Minister Murli Manohar Joshi lashed out at the Congress-led UPA government for resorting to minority appeasement politics. Voicing concern over the growing terrorism in the country, the former Union Minister said the Central government failed to check terrorism.

THE BHARATIYA Janata Party (BJP) on Monday came down heavily on the State and the Central governments for their alleged failure to deal with terrorism.

Addressing an anti-terrorism rally called Rashtriya Suraksha Sankalp Yatra in the city, former Union Minister Murli Manohar Joshi lashed out at the Congress-led UPA government for resorting to minority appeasement politics.

Voicing concern over the growing terrorism in the country, the former Union Minister said the Central government failed to check terrorism.

He accused the Congress-led UPA Government of fulfilling the agenda of the Muslim League.

Commenting on the visit of the Chinese President Hu Jintao to India, the senior BJP leader said the Central Government should analyse the time chosen by the visiting Chinese President.

Earlier, the BJP activists took out a rally from Laurabir Crossing and after passing though different areas, it ended at Dashasumedh area where the leader addressed a gathering.

The party activists and leaders also pledged to work to uproot terrorism in the country.
