It was learnt the saffron party plans organising 30 to 35 Kavi Sammelans, poetry recitation sessions, across the country, where poets are expected to eulogise Modi as a "savior and only leader who could turn things around".

Some poets, among them Hari Om Panwar, are being approached for these events.

"No BJP leader will attend these events. It will be purely a cultural activity. The only difference will be that poets would propagate Modi's ideas and messages. Some stars would also be attending these sessions," BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told HT.

He is also the convener of BJP's Central Programme Implementation and Coordination Committee.

In addition to the poetry sessions, the party's strong publicity machine plans to dispatch about 50 vans fitted with 3D screens to various places, mostly rural areas, to play out Modi's recorded speeches.

Thirty separate teams being trained currently will be performing street plays in rural and tribal pockets to spread Modi's message.
