BJP Andhra Pradesh unit is evolving various programmes to further strengthen party base in the state, said its President G Kishan Reddy here on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters, he said the party is gearing up to take up long-term agitations on people's problem including training programmes to its workers in coming months.

A decision has been taken in the meeting of state office-bearers and party's district presidents held in Hyderabad on Wednesday in which former party president Rajnath Singh attended as chief guest, Reddy said.

To chalk-out a comprehensive action plan for to take up people's issues, the state chief said a three-day meeting would would be at Visakhapatnam from September seven.

Also, training camps for party workers would be held at all district headquarters, he said.

Reddy said the party has decided to initiate a programme to enroll students as members of the party in all university and degree colleges in the state.
