The Samiti denied that it had disrupted movement of supplies to Kashmir, but warned that an “economic blockade” would be enforced in future if the situation demanded.

“There is no economic blockade as of now. We will do it if the need arises. And when we enforce it, the entire world will come to know,” Samiti convenor Leela Karan Sharma told reporters.
