Heath Streak said the wickets Andy Blignaut took with consecutive balls were the turning point in Zimbabwe's victory over West Indies in the third one-day international on Wednesday.
Zimbabwe scored 229 for five and dismissed West Indies for 208 in 47.2 overs, winning the match by 21 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
Fast bowler Blignaut completed figures of four for 43, his best in one-day internationals, dismissing Marlon Samuels for 25 and Ricardo Powell with successive deliveries.
"At that stage they had a partnership going, and we had to get the breakthrough then," Zimbabwe captain Streak told reporters.
"Fortunately Andy bowled a couple of pearlers, and it was just what we needed at the time."
Streak said Zimbabwe's total had ensured a close match.
"It was a competitive total, but we knew we had to bowl really well, give it our all and throw the bodies around," Streak said.
The Zimbabweans go into the last two matches, at the same venue on Saturday and Sunday, needing one more victory to claim their first series victory in two seasons.
"We've got great team spirit -- we want to keep giving our all to try and win rather than sitting back and wondering what might have been," Streak said.

{{/usCountry}}West Indies captain Brian Lara was unhappy with his team's performance.
"When you pick seven batsmen you expect to win the match," Lara told reporters. "It's disappointing, but we've got to move on."
"Chris (Gayle, who top scored for the visitors with 61) played pretty well, but the team didn't pull together."
