The students kept their school locked for the second consecutive day and came out on the street on Wednesday to stage demonstration against the college administration.

Irate students were demanding removal of principal Dinesh Chandra Dubey alleging that he had not bothered to fulfilling some of their long-pending demands, including increase in the amount of scholarship from Rs 550 to Rs 1,000, repair of fans etc and allotment of rooms in the newly constructed hostel.
Talking to HT Live, the visually challenged students reiterated that they would not call off their stir until the principal was removed. For quite sometime, the students have been on warpath, boycotting classes. They have been demanding speedy redressal of their grievances. When contacted, the principal said: “The issues at stake concern the directorate and not us. I’ve apprised the officials at the directorate about the demand of these visually impaired students. I’m trying my level best to redress their grievances by getting fans, etc repaired.”
