The ultra-right wing British National Party (BNP) which is opposed to immigration of Asians, specially from Pakistan and Bangladesh, is now trying to infiltrate and "destroy" the Conservative Party.
It is to be noted since the Iraq war most Muslims, particularly the young ones, drifted away from Labour and went to the Liberal Democrat Party.
But now that Lib Dem is faltering because of a spilt over leadership, the Tories are the best bet electorally. They have pulled ahead of Labour since the election of the new, young David Cameron as their leader.
If BNP succeeds in getting its activists into the Conservative Party, it could spell trouble for Asians. It is reported that BNP leader Nick Griffin has suggested to his followers to go undercover to join the Tory constituency associations, from where they will be able to influence the selection of parliamentary nominees.
In an Xmas message Griffin said, "It would take only 400 individuals who care about saving Britain from partly Tory-created evils such as EU and the Islamification menace to join those 200 at-risk constituency organisations, and the Conservative party can be killed off."
He is all for repatriation of non-whites. He criticised the "largely liberal New Tory homosexuals and Asian males who make up a significant number of Conservative Party members in London."
