Board releases exam schedule

THE MP Board of Secondary Education on Friday released the detailed timetable of high school and higher secondary exams for regular, private, correspondent and credit students to be conducted in March and April 2007.

THE MP Board of Secondary Education on Friday released the detailed timetable of high school and higher secondary exams for regular, private, correspondent and credit students to be conducted in March and April 2007.

Higher secondary exams will begin from March 10 while the high school exam will commence on March 12. Higher secondary exams will continue till April 10 and will be conducted on 11 working days while high school exams will continue till April 7 and will be conducted on nine working days.

This year, board exams are being conducted about 10 days late in comparison to the last few years. This has been done keeping in view the various festivals including Holi falling in first week of March.

This year all exams will be held only in the morning shift, mainly for the benefit of rural students. All exams will be held between 8.30 am and 11.30 am on the mentioned dates.

The detailed timetables have been sent out to all divisional offices of the board as well as to schools for information of students. The timetables for the higher secondary and high school exams are also available on the website of the board – www.mpbse.nic.in.
