A tiffin bomb planted under a railway track culvert has been found and defused by security personnel in Andhra Pradesh.

The bomb was found underneath a culvert near Karepally railway station and defused by police, Khammam's Additional Superintendent of Police Ramesh Babu said.

A person grazing his animals near the tracks noticed a suspicious article and informed railway police, he said.

A bomb disposal squad was immediately sent to the spot and it defused the bomb. District police have taken up the investigation into the matter, Babu said.
