The Indore-Jodhpur Express was on Saturday stopped in its tracks minutes after its departure from Indore following a bomb alert which later turned out false, police said.

The police throughly searched the train after receiving an anonymous call at Indore police control room which warned that a bomb has been planted on it, they said.

Government Railway Police (GRP), district police and bomb disposal squad searched the train for over an hour but did not find any explosive device, police said.
The train later left for its destination, they added.
