Panic gripped the high security zone at Begumpet in the city that houses the official residence of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy following a bomb scare.

Immediately its management informed police, which swung into action with bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs. The entire shop was thoroughly searched and the call turned to be a hoax, police said.
Today's bomb hoax call was fifth one after the explosion in the mosque on May 18, which claimed 11 lives and injured over 50.
