The Mumbai-bound Karnavati Express was on Tuesday stopped at Surat station after an anonymous caller claimed that a bomb had been planted on the train.

The passengers were asked to disembark and the train is being thoroughly checked by the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, police said.
