Bomb threat halts train services in parts of Bihar

The finding of four bomb-like objects near railway tracks led to suspension of trains services for over an hour in between Tarengana and Nadual in Bihar's Patna-Gaya section, railway sources said.

Danapur Railway division sources said that after information about presence of bombs near a bridge in between Tarengana and Nadaul in Jehanabad district, train services on both up and down lines were stopped in Patna-Gaya section.

Later, RPF and GRP personnel conducted a search in which four objects wrapped in a cloth, which looked like bombs, were found from near the track, the sources said.

After a thorough search, train services resumed in the section, the sources added.
