The Delhi High Court today ordered the police to register criminal cases against those defacing public places and properties and also asked the Chief Secretary to prepare a blueprint to curb the menace.

A Division Bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Vijender Jain passed the directions on a PIL which complained that public places and properties continued to be defaced by political parties, organisations and advertisers despite several earlier directives from the court against such practices.
