Book on yoga released

ADDITIONAL ADVOCATE General, UP government, Adish Chandra Agarwala, released a book ?Yoga and Physiotherapy? at the health check-up camp jointly organised by Sri Narain Ashram Hospital and Bar Association Board of Revenue, Allahabad. The book is authored by Yoga guru Mahesh Chandra and physiotherapist Dr Rakesh Chandra.

ADDITIONAL ADVOCATE General, UP government, Adish Chandra Agarwala, released a book ‘Yoga and Physiotherapy’ at the health check-up camp jointly organised by Sri Narain Ashram Hospital and Bar Association Board of Revenue, Allahabad. The book is authored by Yoga guru Mahesh Chandra and physiotherapist Dr Rakesh Chandra.

On the occasion, Agarwala said professionals should go in for regular health check-ups to identify diseases in early stages. He said due to stressful jobs, problems like high BP, back pain and spondylitis had become very common. But one could avoid all this by regularly practicing Yoga in a proper way, he said.

Board of Revenue UP member SN Pandey said mental fitness was as important as physical fitness. And for attaining mental fitness everyone should regularly practice Yoga, he said. Board of Revenue member Ram Janam Singh said more such health check-up camps should be organised for the benefit of service class people.

Sri Narain Ashram Hospital director Sri Mahesh Chandra said free Yoga camps are organised at the hospital for the benefit of masses. Patients were treated at the hospital by charging minimum fees, he added.
