Border problems, security concerns and sharing of common river waters are likely to come up during bilateral discussions between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Bangladeshi counterpart Begum Khaleda Zia on the sidelines of the upcoming SAARC summit, a senior official in Dhaka said on Wednesday.
"We have no major problems with India which cannot be resolved through discussion," Bangladesh Foreign Affairs advisor Reaz Rahman said.
Trade imbalance, sharing common river waters, border problems and security concerns are likely to come up during bilateral parleys on the sidelines of the 13th SAARC summit beginning November 12, he said.
Describing the bilateral ties as "excellent," Rahman said Bangladesh never took any stand against India.
"Most of our problems are not big problems that we cannot resolve," he was quoted as saying by the private UNB news agency.
