A 13-year-old boy drowned in Mithi River on Saturday. The incident occurred in the evening when Shailesh Salve was playing in the locality and fell into the river.

“Search operations are on to fish out Salve’s body,” said Powai police senior inspector S Kolekar. The police have registered a case of accidental death.
