"There was no meeting between me and the ISI chief," Mishra told reporters at a press meet.
Asked by a Pakistani journalist whether he had ever met the ISI chief in Washington or elsewhere, Mishra replied with a curt "no".
Replying to a question on who all he had met, Mishra said that since his arrival in Islamabad on January 2, he had "several meetings to tie up the loose ends with regard to the joint statement".
"I met people," he said adding he did not want to give details about that. "It is for the Pakistani side to disclose about my interlocutors".
