"When Brazil are well prepared, they won't lose to anybody," the Real Madrid fullback said on Wednesday. "And the team is very well prepared, the atmosphere is really nice."

The 33-year-old left back said he has history to back his claims. "Brazil has been showing its (superiority) for the past 12 years," he said.

"Soccer has evolved during this time and Brazil keeps winning."

Brazil has won two of the last three World Cups, in 1994 in the United States and 2002 in South Korea and Japan. It was runner-up to host France in 1998.
