Mac Patel from Chichester's Rose Green post office was declared the runner-up in the post office annual awards.

Patel and his wife Anina, who assists him, were placed in the town and city branch category ahead of thousands of competitors, according to the online edition of Chichester Today, a local newspaper.
Patel was the winner of the competition in 1998 and was similarly a runner-up in 2003.
At a time when the future of post offices is under threat in Britain, Patel said the backing of his customers who voted him was invaluable.
