Recently separated pop singer Britney Spears is picking up a few bad habits from her new best friend Paris Hilton.
Spears was working hard earlier in the month in New York studios on her new album, according to pagesix.com. But a source says she has "been missing recent recording sessions because she has been out all night partying. The label (Jive) is very worried".
She is reportedly telling her friends, "I gave birth for 2-1/2 years, and now I want to party."
Spears has also comprised on the selection of her producer - she is now being managed by Larry Rudolph. Apparently Spears first approached Christina Aguilera's manager Irving Azoff but was turned down because "Spears wanted to cheap him. She only wanted to give him five percent instead of 10. So she went with Larry."
