If picturing Britney Spears in the role of a conservative Christian talk-show host in the latest season of the TV series Will & Grace might be a little hard to do, then it's going to be even more difficult picturing her as being the one Jesus chooses to speak to.

The Toxic singer, who has raised quite a few eyebrows with her revealing outfits and graphic videos, is the subject of a new play What would Jesus say' by The Stechford Baptist Church in Birmingham, UK, in which Jesus Christ talks to Britney Spears through the radio.

Organiser Martin Turner said that the play, which drew about 30 people, was less a comment on Spears, and more a comment on those who believe the path to happiness is to become as famous as the singer.

"There's nothing wrong with fame - Jesus certainly is the most famous Christian - but that's not where happiness lies. What we concluded was that Jesus would say there's more to life than fame, that it's fleeting," E! Online quoted him, as saying.

As for Spears' outfits and videos, Turner feels that even Jesus would have enjoyed her music.

"I'm not sure he would have loved all over her videos. But I don't think Jesus was ever freaked out by overt sex," he added.
