The fluctuating relationship between troubled pop star Britney Spears and her father took a new turn when she asked both her parents to be at her bedside.

TMZ.com reports that this new demand by her could complicate matters for the Trope firm as they go to court soon. Spears is reportedly bipolar and is prone to wild mood swings. She can turn easily from love to hate in a few moments.

Spears had told the lawyers at Trope that she doesn't like her dad but that may not be a strong enough case in front of the commissioner.

Her lawyers need to present a case where they prove that Spears has had serious hatred toward her father over a long period of time.
