Incidents of recovery agents dispossessing a person of his vehicle in full public view or picking up a credit card defaulter (as if they were the police) are becoming the order of the day. The goons hired by reputed banks are fast becoming a menace to society. First, the agencies make innumerable unsolicited calls to the prospective clients. Then they are harassed for the slightest default.

Even if the law allows the banks to recover their money or vehicles the dispute cannot be settled on the streets.
