BSF being blamed without proof: BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Jugal Kishore Sharma on Tuesday demanded an apology from Congress president Saifuddin Soz for making unsubstantiated allegations against the Border Security Force (BSF) and holding the BSF responsible for the Gool incident without any proof.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Jugal Kishore Sharma on Tuesday demanded an apology from Congress president Saifuddin Soz for making unsubstantiated allegations against the Border Security Force (BSF) and holding the BSF responsible for the Gool incident without any proof.

Sharma alleged that the Congress president was trying to get political mileage out of the incident by hitting out at the BSF, which was a soft target.

"The inquiry has not been concluded yet. Such irresponsible statements demoralise the security forces and leaders like Soz should weigh all the pros and cons before jumping to hurried conclusions," he added.
