BSF jawan injured in J&K grenade attack

The jawan was injured when terrorists hurled grenades on BSF troops at Hathishah and Sopore.

A BSF jawan was wounded in a grenade attack by terrorists in Sopore area of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said on Wednesday.

The jawan was injured when terrorists hurled grenades on BSF troops at Hathishah and Sopore, 55 km from here, on Tuesday night.

Border Security Force personnel and local police carried out search operations in the area immediately after the attacks but no one has been arrested till now, the sources said.

Meanwhile, the terrorist outfit Islamic Front has claimed responsibility for the twin grenade attacks.
