"The BSP government in UP was deep into corruption. The Congress-led UPA government had sent Rs 8,670 crores under NHRM to upgrade the health facilities in UP but no one is here to give an account of Rs 5000 crore as to where this amount was spent," Singh said, addressing two poll rallies here.

"Rahul Gandhi rightly said that BSP's elephant was eating funds," Singh said.

Accusing BJP of cashing in on the name of Lord Rama, Singh said "everyone, including me, respects Lord Ram but no one traded Lord Ram for vote politics as BJP did".

"BJP, in the name of 'Shilas' (stones) for the Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya, collected hefty donations from people but now they are not ready to give an account of the donation," he alleged.

Claiming that only Congress could ensure all-round development of Uttar Pradesh, Digvijay termed SP and BJP of playing politics of caste and religion respectively.
