BU panel: Examination of six students to be cancelled

BARKATULLAH UNIVERSITY (BU) has notified the decision of the executive committee taken on June 27 to cancel the exams of six students who appeared for two examinations simultaneously during 2000-01 annual exam.

BARKATULLAH UNIVERSITY (BU) has notified the decision of the executive committee taken on June 27 to cancel the exams of six students who appeared for two examinations simultaneously during 2000-01 annual exam.

Through the notification, the university has given 15 days time to the students to put forth their stand on the matter failing which a one-sided action of cancellation of the exam will be finalised. The registrar of the university has issued the notification.

The case of these half a dozen students appearing for two exams simultaneously was pending for long and had come before the executive committee of the university again on June 27. The committee decided to cancel both the exams of all the six students.

These students are S Toppo, who appeared simultaneously for MA (previous) and PGDCA, Nawal Kishore Deshmukh, who appeared for M Com (previous) and PGDCA, Deepak Shrivastava, who appeared for B Sc Part I exams in different subjects, Samar Singh, who took LLB I and MA English (previous), Manoj Sharma, who wrote both MA (previous) Hindi and PGDCA exams and Mukundan who appeared for PGDCA and M Com (previous).
