Wonder runner Budhia Singh finally on Sunday snapped ties with his coach Biranchi Das and returned to live with his mother in a Bhubaneswar slum, reports Soumyajit Pattnaik.

Wonder runner Budhia Singh finally on Sunday snapped ties with his coach Biranchi Das and returned to live with his mother in a Bhubaneswar slum. Budhia's mother Sukanti alleged that his son was being physically tortured by Biranchi.

Sukanti said, "The coach collected funds in the name of Budhia, but never gave us anything." State women and child development minister Pramila Malik said legal action may be taken against Biranchi, based on these allegations.
