The house of a member of the CPI(M) local committee Partha Bhattacharjee at Kalyani in Nadia district was burgled last night, the police said.
A night guard appointed by Bhattacharjee, who was holidaying in Puri with his family, found the lock broken and valubles stolen, the sources said.

Bhattacharjee had left for Puri four days ago.
