Bus overturns in Cuttack, 35 passengers injured

At least 35 passengers were injured on Sunday, ten of them seriously, when a passenger bus overturned near here on the NH-5, police said.

The bus, carrying about 50 passengers, coming from Mayurbhanj district was going towards Bhubaneswar when it overturned after the driver reportedly lost control over the vehicle at Balikuda, about five kms from here, they said.

All the injured were shifted to SCB Medical College Hospital here and the treating doctors claimed that all passengers are out of danger.

While some of them were discharged after treatment, the serious ones are kept under observation in the hospital.
