Two persons died and several others were feared trapped when an old bus stand collapsed at Bhalki in Bidar district in north Karnataka on Friday.

Both the bodies had been recovered and efforts were on to rescue the persons trapped under the rubble of the old concrete structure, Bidar district Superintendent of Police Sathish Kumar told PTI over phone.

About 20 to 25 people normally wait at the bus stand during the day, police said.
