Delivering the keynote address at the MFC Alumni Meet in the Commerce Faculty in Banaras Hindu University here, Khokhar said that the customer was the prime person in today’s business scenario and the success of any endeavour rested on the customer’s satisfaction.

“If you take care of the customer, then there is greater opportunity for success”, he said, adding that Indian brains were the best in the world and that was why even the most developed economies like the US wanted Indian professionals to join them.

He said that besides the private sector, there were enormous opportunities for professionals in the public sector units (PSUs) and even public sector banks were considering recruiting professionals through campus interviews.
He discussed SMS banking, tele-banking and internet banking and said these facilities emerged in the banking sector to ensure better facilities to customers. Earlier there was institutional loyalty but now there was the concept of commercial loyalty, he opined.

Khokhar said that the situation in the service sector had completely changed as the Indian economy had also been globalised. He suggested to the students of Master of Finance and Control to study every aspect of finance.

The students of Master of Finance and Control also gave a brief introduction of the MFC course and its objective.
