Nothing could be more barbaric than the child killings in Noida. The killers must be hanged after a speedy trial. The self-styled human rights groups who cry themselves hoarse every time there is capital punishment should keep quiet this time. This fits the parameters of the ‘rarest of the rare’ case. The two accused deserve nothing less than the most severe sentence.

End of Saddam saga

The execution of Saddam Hussein was disgraceful. He may have committed serious crimes against humanity, but tyrants like Idi Amin and several other dictators of the world have been ousted from power in their own country. Saddam Hussein was confined to his prison cell and was incapable of being a threat to Iraq, the US and its allies.
