The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists and students of Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) on Friday allegedly ransacked the office of Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Nagpur University in Nagpur.

The protesters stormed into the office premises and damaged furnitures, window frames besides hurling fireballs inside it, police said.

The students were protesting as the results of University exams, conducted last year, had not been declared so far, they said.
However, the Pro Vice-Chancellor GS Parashar was not present in the office at the time of the incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police Suresh Mekhala said.
