C'garh CM, FM should resign for holding two posts

Congress has demanded the resignation of Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh and FM Amar Agarwal for holding two posts.

In the backdrop of UPA chief Sonia Gandhi resigning from Lok Sabha membership, Congress party on Thursday demanded the resignation of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh and Finance Minister Amar Agarwal for holding two posts.

"Including Raman Singh and Finance Minister Amar Agrawal, there are seven ruling BJP MLAs, who are holding two posts and we demand their immediate resignation from the assembly or their dismissal," senior Congress leader Dharamjeet Singh said.

Raman Singh is the Chairman of Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Authority (CREDA), While Amar Agarwal is on the board of Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Corportion, the Congress leader said.
