Upset over not being able to watch the draw of lots for DDA's latest housing scheme, some applicants on Monday eager to "bring" Anna Hazare for better transparency.

Many applicants, who gathered outside the venue of the draw -- Sector-62 office of the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) -- were disappointed as they were neither allowed inside to watch the proceedings nor video screens were installed outside for them.

While some called for more transparency, some were heard saying, "Anna Hazare should have been here."
Hazare, the veteran Gandhian who had recently undertaken a fast demanding the drafting of a tough anti-corruption law, is being seen by many as an anti-graft icon.
