Captain Kalia torture issue ‘taken up with Pak’

Lieutenant-General KT Parnaik, the general commanding officer of Northern Command, on Thursday said the army has taken up the issue of the brutal torture of a Kargil martyr, Captain Saurabh Kalia, with Pakistan. HT reports.

Lieutenant-General KT Parnaik, the general commanding officer of Northern Command, on Thursday said the army has taken up the issue of the brutal torture of a Kargil martyr, Captain Saurabh Kalia, with Pakistan.

Lt General Parnaik spoke after paying homage to the war heroes at Martyr Memorial in Dharamsala.

“Captain Kalia was one of the bravest officers. We have raised the issue of his torture,” he said.
