Case against three for cheating farmers

TUKOGANJ POLICE have registered a case of fraud against three persons who cheated a farmer from Jhabua in the name of providing loan. The accused are Shankar Patidar, Pradeep Patidar and Sunil Patidar.

TUKOGANJ POLICE have registered a case of fraud against three persons who cheated a farmer from Jhabua in the name of providing loan. The accused are Shankar Patidar, Pradeep Patidar and Sunil Patidar.

The victim Ramesh son of Mangilal Meena told police that he had gone to take loan from Shubham Enterprises, who have their offices at Indraprastha Towers, M G Road.

At the office Shankar Patidar, took Rs 69,000 from him in the name of preparing the loan papers and asked him to come back a few days later.

However, when he went again, they refused to give him the promised loan and neither did they return the money. Police said the accused had gone to various villages in Jhabua and had contacted farmers promising them loan. On the basis of this they had collected thousands of rupees from these farmers.

But when the farmers came to the company office, the accused made them sign papers and completed other formalities but did not give them the promised loan.
