A case has been registered against three persons, including a gangster, in connection with the blast that took place in the Barwala village of the district leaving 12 people injured, police said here.

The case has been registered against notorious gangster Vinod Bawla and two others in this regard.
12 people were injured on October 13 when a low-intensity bomb exploded during electioneering for Panchayat elections in a village in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district.
A packet kept on a cycle exploded when supporters of a candidate were campaigning in Barwala village, police said.
No arrest has been made in this connection and police are still investigating the matter, they added.
