The results are available on the website of all six IIndian Institutes of Managements. However, the scoresheets will be announced on January 6.

In afternoon, there was confusion amongst candidates following rumours that the result of only a couple of centres were out and the rest would be declared later.

However, by evening, the result of all centres was available on the website.

Meanwhile, a coaching institute owner said this year students with even a score of 40 might get a call.

“One of our students has a score of 52 and has got a call from all six IIMs. Last year, a candidate with score of 55 got a call from a few IIMs only. Hence, students having a score ranging from 40 to 42 might get a call from any of the IIMs,” he said.

Many more students from the State capital may have got a call from all the six Indian Institutes of Managements. He further said that last year, students with a score below 45 were not called by any centre. Changes in the question paper pattern brought about this low merit.

However, Prof S Nandy said the score sheet of students would be declared on January 6.

Since morning, candidates started converging at cyber cafes of the State capital to see their results which were uploaded in the afternoon.

Candidates could access their results by typing their registration number and date of birth.
