CBI arrests BSNL DGM on graft charges
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested a deputy general manager (DGM) level officer of the BSNL from Muzaffarpur on corruption charges, official sources said.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested a deputy general manager (DGM) level officer of the BSNL from Muzaffarpur on corruption charges, official sources said.
Acting on the complaint of a contractor Manoj Kumar, a CBI team laid a trap and caught BSNL's Muzaffarpur Circle DGM Kaushal Kumar red handed in his office while he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 5000 from the complainant.
Kumar had a demanded bribe from the contractor for award of contract to him for laying cable, they said.
The DGM was being interrogated and his office and residence were being searched by the CBI, the sources said.
