The results for all the regions -- Delhi, Ajmer, Chennai, Guwahati, Chandigarh and Allahabad -- will be announced together at 6 am, the Board said.

The Class X examinations were conducted by the Board across the country as well as overseas in March.

The results, besides being made available at the respective schools, can also be accessed through SMS on mobile phones, Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) on phone as well as on the Internet, the CBSE said in a statement.

Students can also log on to the websites www.cbse.nic.in, www.cbse.gov.in, www.results.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in to access the results.

A total of 6,46,387 students -- 3,77,448 boys and 2,68,939 girls -- have appeared for Class X examinations in over 2,000 centres across the country.

The Board has also launched a helpline to provide the students with post-result counselling. The helpline, which will also be operational in Dubai, Kuwait and Doha in Qatar, will be functional till June 6.

The CBSE had on Tuesday announced the results of Class XII examinations.
