Chandrawanshi is IOA V-P

WELL-KNOWN optometrist of Bhopal, Dr Anil Chandrawanshi has been elected national vice-president of the Indian Optometric Association (IOA) during the recently held conference of the association at Khajuraho.

WELL-KNOWN optometrist of Bhopal, Dr Anil Chandrawanshi has been elected national vice-president of the Indian Optometric Association (IOA) during the recently held conference of the association at Khajuraho.

Dr Kunda Ganatra of Mumbai and Dr Anil Tyagi of Delhi have been elected national president and secretary respectively. More than 800 representatives participated in the national-level conference. Professor George Woo of Hong Kong University was the chief guest on the occasion. A number of research papers on important aspects of ophthalmic problems were presented at the conference.

Among those who presented research papers included Monica Choudhary of AIIMS, New Delhi, Debashish Mandal, Kolkata, Amod Gogte, Pune, Darshani Desai of SNDT University, Mumbai, Prema Chande, Tanuja Panickar also from Mumbai, Krishna Kumar, Chennai and Kuldeep Raijada, Hyderabad.
